Jesus Christ is the founder of our Holy Orthodox Church, and Rev. Fr. Elliot Esch is the founder of the OOM/GCM ministry. He is a former archbishop who resigned to being a hieromonk because he wants more time to pray. He and the other clergy are under the jurisdiction of Abp. Elan Bolton. Fr. Elliot should not formally resign from the bishopcy, since his bishopric status helps Abp. Elan perform long-distanced sacraments such has ordination. He serves as a monastic auxiliary bishop, but just uses the term Hieromonk.
