About Us
Welcome to Orthodox Outreach Ministry, an online and partially in-person evangelization effort by a Monastic community across the US, committed to the ancient traditions of the Orthodox Christian Church. We primarily operate online in assistance to the disabled, the elderly, those in quarantine, and the tech-savvy generations of today, ensuring that everyone can experience the grace of Jesus Christ and the beauty of the sacred Orthodox tradition. We also offer free acolytic assistance to small Orthodox parishes that may need it. The guiding saints and inspirations of our ministry are St. Isidore of Seville and St. Paisios of Mt Athos. We are old calendarists and use the Julian calendar. We are NOT ecumenists, neither is Christians United. We are theoconservative, adhering to tradition.
Who We Are
Orthodox Outreach Ministry is an Orthodox ministry of both Eastern and Western Orthodox rites, dedicated to preserving and promoting the sacred traditions of the Holy Orthodox Church. Our ministry is guided by monastics, ascetics, acolytes, theologians, hieromonks, and we have a few hierarchs from different patriarchates who shepherd the ministry. Our mission is to serve Christ through the Orthodox Church and to foster the spiritual growth and well-being of our faithful. We have split off from the heretical patriarchates and are fully autonomous under the jurisdiction of Metropolitan Archbishop Elan Bolton and his appointed Bishops and Clergy.
Our Location
Orthodox Outreach Ministry is a global organization, but our offices are based in Texas and Pennsylvania. We are mostly online, specifically on Roblox, but have decided to start public preaching and events.

History:
We are now under the omophorion of Archbishop Ioann of the Genuine Orthodox Church Abroad (autocephalous under Genuine Orthodox Church of Texas). We started as a virtual church (as suggested by the domain name) called the Virtual Catholic Church. We were made of mostly lay-monastic and laypeople but with one or two Old Catholic or independent Orthodox priests being in charge of it. We then merged with another ministry and became Global Christian Ministries. Then, under independent Ukrainian Bishops Dmitry and Peter and a True Orthodox bishop Pancratius uniting under one synod to form what would become this synod, Fr. Elliot Esch was elevated to Bishop, and became Monastic Bishop John of the Holy Cross. This synod then called itself the Covenantal Orthodox Church, and began ordaining priests to this church. Our Apostolic Succession comes from many lineages, most notably the Russian Church Abroad and the Old Catholic Church in Europe. We then were joined by monks from OCA, and changed our name to Orthodox Outreach Ministry. We then shortly accepted the True Orthodox Faith and repented of our heresies. Then Bp. Esch, now known as Metropolitan Ioann, received this entire ministry and another monastic brotherhood into the Genuine Orthodox Church of Texas, where it is now.
